About

Welcome to my website! My journey in computer science started with a single line of code and has grown into a passion for innovation, especially in medical technology and machine learning. As a senior at the University of Florida, I thrive on leadership and collaboration, demonstrated through my roles in Dream Team Engineering and Rewriting the Code. Currently, I'm interning at Wells Fargo, developing cutting-edge financial software, while my research at UF delves into predictive analytics for education. Outside of my technology endevours I enjoy time outdoors on hikes or at the beach. I also enjoy listening to music, cooking/backing new recipes, and doing puzzles!

Research

University AI Scholars Research Project
March 2024 - Present

Virtual Learning Environment Intervention Research | Python, Pandas, Scikit-Learn

PI: Ashish Aggarwal

University of Florida Computational Research Group, CISE

  • Previous research has highlighted the potential of knowledge tracing in transforming educational data into actionable insights, yet the development of real-time, AI-driven interventions tailored to specific misconceptions remains in its beginning stages. Our project builds on this foundation, proposing an innovative approach that combines deep learning, natural language processing, and neural networks to analyze students' interactions and responses within VLEs, with the goal of pinpointing and correcting misconceptions at their source through the use of Large Language Models (LLM) for automated suggestions to the educator.
  • So far, our research has predicted student performance in computer science courses with 78% accuracy using multinomial logistic regression, successfully integrating factors such as GPA, gender, and prior programming experience to enable interventions to be taken based on pre course factors.

Projects

Care Connect
January 2024 - Present

Dream Team Engineering project - Captain | React & SQL

  • Implemented a search algorithm to filter through a SQL database with 93 available resources to display user-specific resource matches for the Equal Access Clinic volunteers to distribute to patients, resulting in a quick and efficient distribution
